Dave Grohl Pens Sweet Message To Disabled Fan After Viewing His Documentary

Over the summer, a video made the rounds that showed Dave Grohl inviting a wheelchair-bound fan onstage during Foo Fighters' Sziget Festival set after spotting him being raised up by fellow fans. Now, we're getting to know that mysterious man a little better.

Last week, Gal Mizrachi shared a documentary about his time at Sziget. The multimedia teacher loves festivals and spends every summer traveling from his hometown of Tel Aviv, Israel to catch as much live music as he can. Grohl caught wind of the video and penned a sweet message to the inspirational fan on Instagram.

"Woke up this morning to find this.... a pure message of how love, hope, music, and people can come together to make the world a better place," Grohl wrote alongside a photo from that memorable night (which happened to be Mizrachi's birthday). "Gal, as I wipe the tears from my face, I wish you a belated Happy Birthday (I had no idea!) and hope that our paths cross again. You have inspired me more than you’ll ever know.... this was the greatest surprise... Dave"

We're not crying, you're crying...
